Description

Models 5702, 5702 R, and 5702 RH are the economical centrifuges for the clinical and cell culture lab.With various fixed-angle and swing-bucket rotors and an extensive range of adapters, nearly all types of tubes can be used. Use Refrigerated Model 5702 R for heat sensitive samples. Heated and Refrigerated Model 5702 RH allows centrifugation under biological conditions to improve cell viability for more accurate results in downstream application.

For active cells, Eppendorf offers the Centrifuge 5702 RH with heating and cooling capabilities. It guarantees maximum temperature accuracy and can consistently maintain set temperatures above room temperature. Temperature-sensitive cells or cell cultures can be centrifuged at defined temperatures, particularly at 37°C which increases cell viability to benefit your downstream applications.

The 4 x 85 mL swing-bucket rotor (A-4-38) comes with round buckets. Adapters are available to spin Vacutainer^® tubes and 15/50 mL conical tubes.

Optional aerosol-tight caps are available for safe centrifugation of hazardous samples such as viruses, pathogen bacteria, blood samples or radioactive probes. The aerosol-tight caps are certified by an independent agency (Health Protection Agency, Porton Down, UK) and comply with the OSHA regulation on aerosols - 1910.1030(e)(2)(iii)(A)and IEC 1010-2-020.
