Eppendorf 5427 R Centrifuge
Description
If there is a demand for high sample throughput, many centrifuges call it a day in regards to capacity. This does not apply to the Centrifuge 5427 R. With a new double-row 48-place rotor it lives up to the increased efficiency requirements with fast running times in a safe and reliable manner. This is supported by an intuitive human interface and design concept which makes for a compelling user comfort.
For these reasons, the Centrifuge 5427 R becomes the ideal solution for high-end research applications. In addition, this microcentrifuge satisfies with an innovative compressor technology which by taking ecological aspects into account tempers sensible samples precisely to guarantee a proper preparation of your analysis.
High-throughput capacity
Centrifuge 5427 R allows for centrifugation of up to 48 x 1.5/2 mL tubes. It also accommodates a new rotor for 12 x 5.0 mL Eppendorf Tubes® with a maximum speed of 20,600 x g sufficient for molecular applications such as DNA, RNA and protein purification.
Eppendorf QuickLock® rotors
Our aerosol-tight Eppendorf QuickLock rotors close with only 1/4 of a turn. This not only saves you time during every day use, it also takes repetitive stress off your wrist.
Virtually silent operation
Eppendorf centrifuge 5427 R features our unique OptiBowl® design for whisper quiet operation to benefit your work environment you can work right next to them while they are running.
Soft-touch lid closure
Centrifuge 5427 R is equipped with a soft-touch one-finger lid closure for ergonomic operation. Just lower the lid gently and it will lock automatically. No more pressing or slamming down the lid.
High-speed swing-bucket rotor for Eppendorf tubes
Our unique swing-bucket rotor for 24 x 1.5/2 mL tubes is ideal for gradient centrifugation or for a very compact pellet at the bottom of the tube. It provides speed up to 16,050 x g sufficient for molecular applications. The rotor also comes with an aerosol-tight QuickLock rotor lid for ergonomic lid locking and safe centrifugation of hazardous samples such as bacteria, viruses, radioactive samples or aggressive chemicals.
